Swim, Swim, Swim ...

Jayna & Jen spent the day on Friday (Jayna's Birthday) with Grandpa & Grandma Messer at the beach. Jayna & Grandpa share a birthday and a day at the beach has become an annual tradition.

The Kents', Millers' & Andreasens' spent a day here this week. It was a fun day with a picnic and swimming. The kids played so nice all day.

Jayna's Birthday

Jayna is turning 5 years old on Friday and we began the celebration on this past Saturday with a pool party with the Jen's mom's side of the family!! Jayna had a great time with Grandpa & Grandma Shutes, Uncle Scott, Courtney & Madison!! She truly felt like a queen for the day and was the star of the show (just like every 5 year old should be on their birthday). We hope you enjoy these couple of pictures of the Shutes family. I do want to say that Jayna, Uncle Sep, and I (Aaron) really do like the name Zipporah for a girl. Jen is still fighting it though. We will see. Thanks to you all for your wonderful input.

It has been hard to keep Jayna out of the pool this summer, especially with this 90+ degree heat!! It has been tons of fun!!

Baby Names

Jen, Jayna & I are looking for a little help from all of you. As I am sure all of you know, we are expecting our second child in the month of October. We are not going to know if we are having a boy or a girl, so we plan to have both a boy and girl name ready when the baby comes.

Here is where we need some help. We have a name picked out for our potential son, but are really struggling with finding a name for our potential daughter. We have discussed alot of names and have narrowed it down to about 10 or so. Thanks for your help and we look forward to your input. Here is our list:

Bitter Sweet

Jen (Baby Hog) had to promise Jayna and Taylor that they could hold Tucker just to get them to sit still for this picture on the night he was born.

We had a meadow full of daisies this spring next to the house. Here Jayna is picking a handful of flowers to share with her mom.

Jayna on the night of her Pre-School Graduation. She is very excited about going to Kindergarten in the fall.

This is the 1st family picture taken without Pops (Taken on the Fourth of July), but also the 1st with Carly and Tucker. These babies are such a blessing and have added alot of joy to our family.
