My Little Golfer
No Baby Yet
As most of you have probably heard, Jen has had some premature labor the last couple of weeks. We spent a couple of days in the hospital 2 weeks ago and then 4 more days last week, but she is fine & healthy and so is the baby. Thanks sooo much for all of your prayers and encouragement. Jen will be 36 weeks tomorrow and the doctors are comfortable with the baby arriving anytime after next Monday, 10/2. So, the plan is on Monday to go off the medicine and resume some light activity and see what happens. Thanks again and I will be sure to let you all know when this baby shows up. Check back here often to see the very first pictures of the new little one.

School Bus
So now that Jayna has her first official week of school behind her, we thought that we would share a couple more pictures from this week.
Here is Jayna & Riley (Grandma's neighbor) getting on the bus. Riley is in 1st grade and can keep a close eye on Jayna.
Here is Jayna (backpack and all) waiting for the bus to show up.

First Day of School
Today was Jayna's first day of school. She is officially a kindergartener. She did great and made some new friends. She has lots of ladies from church who work in different areas of the school who are looking out for her (which makes mom & dad more at ease also). Her teacher Mrs. Firenze is a very kind lady who is going to do great teaching Jayna and helping her adjust to this new stage in her life. Jen was off work today (more about that at a different time), so she took Jayna to school today, but tomorrow she is going to Grandma Hess' house to get on the bus. Look for more pictures of that big day tomorrow. Here is Jayna at home before they left for school and one of her @ school in the cafeteria with Mrs. Firenze and other kids getting ready to go to their classroom.
