The Weekend - Day 14

Today, we are praising God that Autumn’s creatinine and BUN levels are going down! That means that the dialysis is working, which is the first step towards her kidneys getting better. Once her levels are “normal,” they will slowly decrease her amount of dialysis to see if she can filter on her own. She still has a ways to go, but anything in the right direction is encouraging. We do have a prayer request for our little one though. She has acquired some sort of infection. She has a fever and cannot have any milk until this passes. They are treating her with medication. They have run some tests and are waiting for the results to see what the infection is. They wanted to perform a spinal tap, but were unsuccessful. We are just praying that this is something minor and will disappear quickly with antibiotics.

We are enjoying our time with Jayna this weekend. She loves the crafts from Mrs. Bremmer. We have done four of them so far. Right now, she is coloring with her daddy. She is making sure he only does it the way she wants him to. It is amazing how fast the time with her goes. We treasure every moment that she is with us.

Aaron and Sep moved some things to the condo that has been offered to us. This is about 20 minutes from the hospital, and will be a much more affordable situation while we wait for Autumn to continue healing. We are amazed at how God works through people! He has been such a wonderful provider for us! As we continue to pray for Autumn, we first and foremost thank our Lord for his grace, provision, healing, love, strength and faithful servants! Our God is an awesome God!

The weekends with Jayna must feel like such a treasured time for all of you. I am sure that she cherishes every minute not only with the two of you, but also with Autumn. We are thinking of all of you and will continue to pray.
